‘Tis the season for warm cinnamon buns & crunchy gingerbread. For piping hot chocolate & soft gooey toffee. For warm buttered toast & sweet sticky jams.
‘Tis the season to eat! And to be inspired by lots of yummy food photography – I imagine I’ll be posting quite a lot more of these images over the coming days! 🙂

It’s that time in the afternoon again, when I’m staring vacantly at my laptop. I’ve definitely hit the wall.
It’s coming up to 4pm, the wind is lashing against the window panes, and my body is craving a sugary comforting treat.
You know the feeling. Anything will do. A cookie, a piece of chocolate or a little scoop of frozen yoghurt.
Guess I shouldn’t be looking at these tasty photographic treats then, eh?

I love the smell of freshly baked bread. There’s nothing better than the warm aroma of a crusty loaf, soft & pillowy inside and fresh & crispy just out of the oven.
As luck would have it though, I’m gluten intolerant! Yes, woe is me. Despite wanting nothing more than a thick slice of toasty bread, drizzled in butter or sandwiching delicious bacon, pate or soft blue cheese, I’m left wanting and whining like a puppy at many a bakery window!
But why should that stop me from enjoying the visual beauty of bread in its many yummy varieties. From Mediterranean-influences sundried tomatoes, juicy black olives and salty anchovies, to fruity & nutty slices of toast, to herbilicious breads infused with rosemary, thyme and basil – there’s always a wonderful aroma from a loaf, cob or baguette to be enjoyed….
And some wonderful ‘loafography’ for us all to enjoy too!
